Outfall copyProblem : Too Much Information

In working with gas operations Pillar Innovations has found that many companies generate a large quantity of information.  Information comes into headquarters via cell modems, SCADA, microwave point to point, fiber, and various other means.  The problem is that there is no good way to view this information.

Solution

Pillar Innovations can organize the incoming data onto an easy to use dashboard.  This will bring all of the information into one place, giving the customer a snapshot of the gas operations.  This can allow gas operations to create a command center from which midstream operations can be monitored.

Problem : Growing Too Fast

As the gas industry has grown over the past couple of years, gas operations have been forced to expand very quickly.  When this happens often systems are put in place at a rapid pace, and integration of the systems are not a concern.  The result is a site with various systems that cannot talk to each other.

Solution

Pillar Innovations works with operations to organize and integrate existing systems.  By integrating systems and allowing them to talk to each other, this brings about new opportunities.  Now if one system starts to see unsafe conditions, it can alert and shutdown other equipment as necessary.  This makes the operation run more efficiently and safely.
